Run to Feed the Hungry

Run To Feed The Hungry is a Sacramento-based annual holiday 5K/10K event that takes place every year on thanksgiving. Established in 1994 by Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS), a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding those in need from around the Sacramento area, Run To Feed The Hungry has become the largest Thanksgiving day running event in the country! This past year saw 31,660 participants and managed to feed 334,000 people. The event also holds several contests and giveaways available to participants.
